"Last fall we awarded them a $230,000 contract to install a new Munters rooftop air handler and a 40-ton Trane condenser to serve our natatorium. It was a big job removing the old air handler from the roof, preparing the roof to receive the new unit and then lifting the new unit into place. The condenser was added to provide enhanced dehumidification and better air quality to the facility. The job was done in February and we only lost two days of service while the old unit was removed and the new one set in place. I didn’t want anyone in the pool while the crane was moving this large equipment and neither did job Forman. The job was completed on time and they came back on their own the first few days of operation to make sure the unit was working properly. Of course, we received the usual complaints from our members that that the water was too cold or too hot and that the room was too cold or too hot. One day I shut the unit off by tampering with the controls that I knew little about and they had a serviceman out within the hour.
